Mancuso Group at Career Day Giovani: An Opportunity for Young People in Agrigento
On the occasion of Despar’s 65th anniversary, Mancuso Group had the honor of receiving the prestigious Despar Award, a recognition celebrating excellence among Mancuso Group participated enthusiastically in the second Career Day Giovani, an event organized by Sicindustria Agrigento and held at the Palacongressi in Villaggio Mosè. The initiative saw the participation of the companies Mancuso Vincenzo & C. and Sicily Food, which met with hundreds of students from eight technical and vocational institutes in Agrigento and the province.
The main objective of the event, coordinated by Prof. Giacomo Minio, was to offer concrete employment opportunities to young people who are about to complete their education, both in the public and private sectors. The companies were able to connect with students interested in pursuing a career in local businesses, while helping to meet the needs for professional qualifications in the area.
Throughout the day, many young people visited the Mancuso Group stands, submitting their resumes in search of their first employment opportunity. Alessandra Criminisi from the commercial department and Stelio Zaccaria from the Marketing department welcomed the students, providing information on open positions and career opportunities offered by the group’s companies.
The meeting proved to be an important moment of connection between local young talent and the business community in the area, promoting the development of professional skills and employment opportunities in Agrigento.
